Meet Our Ambassadors
Our ambassadors are student leaders driving change in their local skating communities—expanding access to equipment, leading educational workshops, and turning sustainability into action on and off the ice.

Lead the Movement.
Become a Skating Beyond Ambassador!
At Skating Beyond, we believe the joy of skating should never be limited by the cost of equipment or a lack of resources. Our mission bridges sustainability and accessibility—donating skates for those in need, repurposing unusable skates, and bringing the magic of the rink to life through our Skating Through Science and Skate Craft workshops.
But creating long‑lasting change requires more than a program. It requires a movement!
We invite you to join and lead this movement with us!

Why Become a Skating Beyond Ambassador?
As a Skating Beyond Ambassador, you aren't just a volunteer—you are a leader. This program is designed for youth figure skaters who want to use their passion for the sport to create real impact in their local communities and beyond.

When you join, you will:
-
Expand Access: Direct skates to those who need them most through our innovative Mercari-based donation system.
-
Inspire Curiosity: Use our "Skating through Science" curriculum to teach the physics, anatomy, and chemistry of skating to the next generation.
-
Build Your Legacy: Gain valuable leadership, project management, and community advocacy skills - strengthening your college applications and resumes.
-
Connect Nationally: Join a network of like-minded student-leaders across the U.S. who are going beyond being a figure skater to give back to the sports community we love and consider a family.

How You Can Make a Nationwide Impact:
Our program offers a choose‑your‑own‑path model—because every skater has unique strengths and passions. Ambassadors can choose one path or combine several. Whether you are a STEM enthusiast, a community organizer, or a social media storyteller, there is a place for you:
-
Skate Drive Champion: Host skate drives at your local rink and manage our Mercari-based "giving" platform.
-
Workshop Lead: Lead off‑ice workshops or STEM‑based activities at summer camps, after‑school programs, or off‑ice classes.
-
Community Advocate: Partner with rink management to install permanent donation bins and spread our mission through local media or community events.
-
Content Innovator: Help us develop new tutorials, social media content, graphics, or activity ideas that help grow our national Skating Beyond community.
